Welcome To Sri Pitchika Sominaidu Memorial Trust

Sri Pitchika Sominaidu Memorial Trust is a Non-Government and Non-Profit making organization, established to work in the areas of Health, Education, relief of poor, and to provide amenities and facilities to those who can’t afford.

It was founded by a group of development activists and social workers who had a background in rural development.

Sri Pitchika Sominaidu Memorial Trust was established in 2023 to support the efforts in achieving economic equality and sustainable development; leading to transformational change and improvement in the lives of marginalised sections of society.

Central to our philosophy is the commitment to enhance the quality of life of people from marginalised and vulnerable communities, by empowering them and catalysing change through innovative and sustainable solutions. Our steadfast endeavour is to create replicable and scalable models of development through an integrated approach in the true spirit of maximising societal value for all, and making it a movement.”

Its unique genesis resulted in two advantages for the foundation of the organisation it initiated its program with people possessing prior field experience and owing to the specific background it inherited a broad and comprehensive outlook encompassing a socio-economic and environmental development perspective.
